• The 2026 Cambridge Woman’s Club Announces First Scholarship Award

    Two $500 scholarships will be awarded!!

    One graduating senior from North Dorchester High School and Cambridge South Dorchester High School who wishes to further their formal education will be awarded a $500 scholarship.     The Board of Directors of the Cambridge Woman’s Club approved the first ever scholarship program for graduating seniors from each of the county’s high schools. Female and male applicants are encouraged to apply.

    Cindy Ruark, former club president, has championed this cause and is very excited to review applications and announce the first recipients of this award. Current club president Ruth Clendaniel, a longtime educator in Dorchester County, said “education can truly open doors for our young people today. The Cambridge Woman’s Club scholarship (offered for young women or men) is one way we can help students find greater opportunities in the future.”
