  • Message from our President/CEO

We are heading into our second 100 Years of service with an unwavering commitment to our Mission: “To advance Dorchester County through educating, promoting and nurturing a strong, resilient business community.”  We work closely with all levels of government on issues that affect our members.  The Chamber's Government Affairs Committee takes a proactive approach to the challenges that could positively or negatively affect the viability of businesses in our community. We work hard to provide thoughtful and actionable responses to issues that arise at the local, state and federal level.

In addition to our wide array of advocacy efforts, we provide many networking and educational events for our membership.  We want to be known as the connector of choice for our membership.  We know how important it is to be networked within our community and making connections among our diverse membership is key to our continued growth.  Our events are one way to make connections happen and they range from ribbon cuttings to education and training sessions to our signature events.  These events bring hundreds of business and industry leaders as well as government officials together to provide a forum for you to strengthen and grow your business.

We make every effort to ensure that we provide a thorough suite of services that can help benefit your business.  We have several valuable benefits that can be accessed through the Chamber - https://www.dorchesterchamber.org/member-benefits.  We offer this full suite of services to ensure your Chamber membership provides value for your business.

The team at the Chamber is dedicated to ensuring we provide the highest level of service to help your business reach its maximum potential.  If you have any questions, please drop me an email at Bill@DorchesterChamber.org or just stop in at our new location at 306 High Street, Cambridge, MD.  If you like what we are doing, spread the word, and let other businesses know.  We appreciate your membership and we appreciate your referrals as well.  If you are not a member, please consider joining us to help achieve our vision of: “A strong, sustainable, vibrant and inclusive community.”
