KENT ISLAND, MD- The Muskrat Leg Eating World Championship returns to Cult Classic Brewing Company Saturday, February 14 at 3pm with the competition happening around 6pm in Stevensville. This marks the third year Cult Classic Brewing is hosting what has come to be known as one of the most exciting and unique sporting events in the country.
Master of Ceremonies and Cult Classic Big Shot Rohry Flood says, "Children long for magical days like Christmas and their birthday, Halloween candy and fireworks on the 4th of July.
The Shore dreams of the Muskrat Leg Eating World Championship 364 days a year and celebrates like the days of the colosseum when the great match finally arrives annually.
We’re pumped to bring back the most hotly contested eating competition on this big blue marble every February and this year is no different. It’s gonna be bigger, better and beastlier than ever before. We have more music, more vendors, more muskrat and more room to accommodate the fans of this incredible sporting competition."

Reigning Champ Robert "Chicken Man" Hajir flanked by 2nd place finisher Cody Fenzel (L) and 2024 Champion Mike "Dirty Legs" Detmer (R)
In 2025, the crown went to Robert "Chicken Man" Hajir. A resident of Somerset County, he is the first person not from Dorchester County to win.
Happy to embrace the title of "heel", he had this to say about the competition. "The crown is not up for negotiation. I am not coming Feb. 14 to compete. I’m coming to remind everyone why I rule.
I will devour the hearts of the pretenders faster than I devour the delicious muskrat. These losers, these frauds, will leave the same way they did last year; crying, broken and booing."
Find out for yourself what the hype is all about February 14, 2026 with festivities beginning at 3pm with musical legends, Jimmy Cole Band with the competition kicking off around 6.
"Not since Andre the Giant turned on Hulk Hogan, has a professional athlete turned my stomach the way "Chicken Man" does. I hope somebody knocks him out, and I really don't care who it is. He's not a model ambassador for the sport." Said, MLEWC Commissioner, Keith Graffius. "I'd take (two-time retired champion) Chuckie Love over this guy any day."
Tickets to the wildest event of the year can be found here with proceeds from every ticket sold going to the Queen Anne's County Watermen's Association:
