    Tavern Nights are coming to the historic Meredith House on the campus of the Dorchester County Historical Society (1003 Greenway Drive, Cambridge, MD).

    The first event premieres Saturday, March 28, celebrating Maryland Day (founded 1634), featuring period drinks and “tastes of the past” while guests explore the collections.

    The accompanying exhibit, Doctors of Dorchester, highlights the Bayly family and the medical ledgers of Dr. Alexander Hamilton “Ham” Bayly, Jr., with special recognition during Women’s History Month of Margaret Craig Bayly, a former homeowner. The exhibit remains on display throughout 2026.

    • June 28 – Art at the Start Almost 50! Celebrating America 250 with artwork dating back to 1958

    11am–3pm: Open House Tours (all ages) – $5 adults; free 12 & under
    4pm–8pm: Tavern Night (21+) – Reservations recommended
