MILLSBORO — TidalHealth Primary Care and TidalHealth Specialty Care are pleased to announce that Barbara Murray and Caitlin Rothstein, Team Care Assistants at TidalHealth Primary Care in Millsboro are its 2023 Team Members of the Year.
Murray and Rothstein were recognized as Team Members of the Month in September 2023 for their demonstration of TidalHealth’s values of community and service during an interaction with a patient:
“A patient was transitioning from the home he had lived in all his life to a long-term care facility. He did not have any suitcases or any means to be able to purchase any. He had packed his only belongings in trash bags before his big move. Barbara and Caitlyn learned of this and made sure to get him presentable luggage, totes and bags so he could arrive at his new home with his dignity intact.”
Murray and Rothstein went above and beyond to provide a valuable service to one of the members of our community who could not facilitate for themselves at that time. They ensured that this patient could enter his care facility with the dignity he deserved and protection for his personal belongings.
Not only did they provide exceptional service to the patient when he was in the primary care office, but they also demonstrated a sense of community by choosing to help his transition go smoothly. They are model community members and fantastic, empathetic TidalHealth team members.
