• 8th Annual Groove City Culture Fest Returns to Cambridge Saturday, August 15



    This is not just another Festival!

    CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Groove City Black Heritage & Culture Group Inc. will hold the 8th Annual Groove City Culture Fest on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cornish Park and the 600 block of Pine Street in Cambridge. The festival is free and open to the public, rain or shine, with no ticket required.

    The 2026 theme is Hip Hop vs. Go-Go. Programming runs across three stages, a Main Stage at Cornish Park, a Heritage Stage, and a Community Stage dedicated to local and youth artists, with Main Stage sets beginning at 4:00 PM and the headline set from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.     Alongside the music, the Pine Street market will host up to 85 vendors across art, craft, wellness, retail and food, with food trucks and soul kitchens, a dedicated Kid Zone, and free youth programming. Free parking is available in designated lots around Cornish Park with a shuttle running from downtown Cambridge on festival day. The festival offers wheelchair-accessible viewing zones, ASL interpretation on the Main Stage headline sets, and accessible restrooms.

    The festival is produced by Groove City Black Heritage & Culture Group Inc., a 501(c)(3) organisation, in partnership with Fan2See Productions. The event honours the Black music, food and community traditions rooted in Pine Street, historically the heart of Black Cambridge and a stop on the national circuit of Black-owned venues that gave Black artists stages when mainstream venues would not.
