TidalHealth is pleased to welcome Ahmad Nawid Nawa, MD, to TidalHealth Primary Care in Salisbury, Maryland.
Dr. Nawa earned his medical degree from the Kabul Medical University and completed his internal medicine/pediatric residency at the French Medical Institute for Children, both in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Dr. Nawa recently completed TidalHealth’s internal medicine residency program, as part of the program’s inaugural class. He is a member of the Internal Medicine Society of Afghanistan and the Afghan Medical Professional Association of America, where he was a volunteer healthcare provider for Afghan refugees.
Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys soccer, fitness, reading and astrology. Dr. Nawa is fluent in his native language, Dari, as well as English, Pashtu and Urdu.
