Anyra Hudson is TidalHealth Peninsula Regional’s Sunshine Awardee for February 2024.
SALISBURY – Anyra Hudson, certified nursing assistant (CNA) on patient care area 3 West, has been selected as TidalHealth Peninsula Regional's February 2024 Sunshine Award recipient for her professionalism, kindness and compassion. Anyra was actually nominated by two different people: a patient and a patient’s family member.

Anyra was very attentive and patient with my father, making sure that he was always comfortable, clean, and warm. She is a blessing and a true example of what a CNA should be. Her dedication for her patients and peers is a true indication of just how much she loves her profession. We will always remember her smile and her kindness.

Each time I needed her and pressed the call button for assistance, she was there, quickly, and always friendly. She never complained, was very sweet, a hard worker and incredibly caring. If I ever need to be back on 3 West, I hope it’s Anyra who will be looking over me.
Hudson was honored in a ceremony before her coworkers and presented with fresh flowers, a pin and a certificate recognizing her exceptional devotion to team and patient care.
