Volunteer-Litter Pickup at Blackwater Wildlife Refuge

Looking for a rewarding way to give back? Join U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service staff in protecting wildlife and habitats by participating in a litter pick-up along refuge roadsides on National Public Lands Day, Saturday, September 24, 2022. The event takes place from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge.  Volunteers are encouraged to wear boots, long pants, and clothes that can get dirty.  Trash bags, gloves, safety vests, and water will be provided.
