    The Board of Directors of the Dorchester Chamber of Commerce is currently searching for the next President/CEO to lead the Chamber into the future.  The President/CEO serves as the chief executive officer, responsible for overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management. The role focuses on membership growth, retention, and engagement, ensuring the Chamber provides strong value and maintains excellent community and stakeholder relationships.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to serve and advance the local business community.

    Founded in 1921, the Dorchester Chamber of Commerce is the community's oldest, largest and most effective business advocate. The Chamber membership represents all sectors of business and community activity found in the heart of Chesapeake Country. The 17-member Board of Directors and staff work tirelessly on behalf of the membership and the community to realize the vision for “a strong, sustainable, vibrant, and inclusive community”.  The Chamber partners with key organizations like Dorchester County Economic Development and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to provide services to members and the business community as a whole.  These working partnerships provide a strong business support system for existing and new businesses within the County.
