Shine Your Light 1 Year Anniversary

Join Us for a Day of Celebration & Community! 

?We are so excited to invite our friends and neighbors in Cambridge to our 1 Year Anniversary celebration!

?This year, we are going BIG to "SHINE YOUR LIGHT" on everything that makes our community special. As the artist who created the "Shine Your Light" mural, I am profoundly moved by how this space has evolved beyond paint and wall. It has become a living testament to our community’s resilience—a sentiment that stands as a symbol of our collective power to break through barriers, refuse to be dimmed, and continue pushing forward together, no matter the challenge.

 When: Saturday, August 8

 Where: 118 Cedar St, Cambridge, MD

We have a packed schedule with something for everyone:

 Live Music & Entertainment: We are honored to have the CSDHS summer band camp join us to share their incredible talent & energy, plus live music performance with Mz'Vocalz and music vibes with DJ Naco Marrero.

 Guest Author Spotlight: Come meet our special guest, Dr. Elizabeth Moran, Art Historian, Author, and Scholar.

 Special Performances: We are so happy to welcome back the beautiful spirit of Tradición Puerto Rican folk dance and the talented Salsa Guy Richmond!

 Interactive Fun: Bring the kids for bouncing fun, inflatable games, balloon twisting with Mr. Fox from Panda & Friends entertainment, a special community art activity with We Are Limitless Studios, and more at the kids' activities area.

 Vendors & Community: Support and connect with our local difference makers, business vendors, and youth entrepreneurs! From delicious baked goods from Groove City Cakes, Puertorican desserts by Raices Tainas, Rios Mini amazing Donuts. Allison beautiful Creacciones, Tinesha Key Chainz and more.

 Food Trucks: Delicious food to keep you fueled while you celebrate. Come enjoy tasty treats and the shore best lemonade from Mrs. Martins, Tacos Pupusas Locas to the authentic Dominican Flavor on wheels from the Dominican King Lopez of Empandas.
