Recovery Works Purple

Dorchester Goes Purple and DRI-Dock Recovery & Wellness Center are teaming up for this year's Recovery Works Event!  All members of our community are invited to celebrate hope, healing, and recovery.  Together, we'll honor the strength, resilience, and achievements of individuals and families on their recovery journeys while bringing our community together for a day of connection, support, and celebration.  Guests will enjoy free food, music, games, raffle prizes, inspiring recovery speakers and performers, community resource vendors, and more. Whether you're in recovery, supporting a loved one, or simply looking to connect with local resources, there's something for everyone.

Dorchester Goes Purple is the month of September and the objective of DGP is to help break the stigma of addiction by bringing awareness to the dangers of substance misuse and to encourage positive decision-making related to navigating the challenges of everyday life.

Time: 12pm-4pm (vendor set up at 11 am)
Location: City lot on corner of Cedar and Race Streets, Cambridge, MD 21613
