Millennials Demanding Change, a group of Marylanders inspiring positivity for black communities, and ShoreRivers, a clean water voice for Maryland's Eastern Shore and home to the Choptank, Chester, Miles-Wye, and Sassafras Riverkeepers are sponsoring a Halloween Cleanup on Pine Street in Cambridge, MD. Please join ShoreRivers and Millennials Demanding Change this Saturday, October 31, at 1 pm on the corner of Pine and Washington Streets. Cleanup will be for 1-2 hours. This event is free.
ShoreRivers will provide bags and gloves for volunteers. Volunteers should dress accordingly (for the weather and for Halloween). Masks and social distancing is required.
After the cleanup, all trash bags will be piled up and a group photo will be taken. The City will then be notified to pick up trash bags.
We hope that you can join us in this cleanup to help keep our neighborhoods and rivers clean. It's also a great way to build a sense of community within the City of Cambridge! Thank you very much for your time.
