TidalHealth is pleased to welcome Itay Melamed, MD, to TidalHealth Neurosurgery in Salisbury, Md.
Dr. Melamed received his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colo. He completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia and later received additional training in skull base and cerebrovascular at the Indianapolis Neurosurgical Group. He then completed his endovascular surgical neuroradiology fellowship at Indianapolis Neurosurgical Group.  
Dr. Melamed is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is a senior member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the Golden Key Honor Society.  
In his career, Dr. Melamed has worked with such prestigious groups as Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine in Indianapolis and Geisinger in Pennsylvania.
When he is not seeing patients, he enjoys spending time with his family.
