Waugh Chapel Community Cookout-Unity In The Community

Waugh Chapel Community Cookout will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.(set up and breakdown time) at Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church, 425 High Street, with a rain date of Saturday, July 25, 2026. The event will include food, music, and family‑friendly activities for the community. 

Traffic Advisory: High Street will be temporarily closed from Pine Street to Muir Street on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to this closure, motorists should expect delays, follow posted detour routes, and plan to use alternate streets to avoid the area. Drivers are also advised that amplified sound will be in use during this time and may be heard in the surrounding vicinity. Please use caution and adhere to all traffic control measures.
