About the Conference:
The Chesapeake Oyster Alliance (COA) is preparing another top-tier gathering of oyster experts for the 2023 Chesapeake Oyster Science Symposium (COSS ‘23), where the fields of oyster restoration, aquaculture, and research converge to explore cutting-edge innovation and collaboration in the oyster world.
The 2023 Chesapeake Oyster Science Symposium (COSS ‘23), will be broadcast live on Zoom from the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge, MD, on Thursday, October 26th from 10:30 am - 4:00 pm ET. Registration is FREE for all virtual attendees, *with an optional/suggested donation of $10 to support COA’s oyster work (thanks for considering!)
The agenda is designed for all oyster practitioners and those considering entering the fields of oyster restoration, aquaculture, or research. We welcome under- and post- graduate students, non-profit and governmental staff, oyster growers, watermen, business owners and the many others invested in the recovery of the Chesapeake Bay oyster and oysters worldwide.
While COSS ’23 focuses on emerging science and innovative approaches to advance the oyster population of Chesapeake Bay, we are happy to welcome attendees from all locations (e.g., the East, Gulf, and West Coasts, and international audiences).
If you have any questions please reach out to me directly.
