About Us

Local Business Brief is an online publication for small business owners and the communities they serve. We publish practical guides on the everyday work of running a local business: marketing and promotion, printed materials and signage, customer experience, events, hiring, and choosing the right tools and services. As a member of the Dorchester Chamber of Commerce, we share resources written for seafood, agriculture, tourism and small manufacturing businesses in Dorchester County. Some articles reference third-party products and services, including design, printing, software and financial tools, so owners can compare their options.
