Evening in the NECK!!

The Neck District VFC will be hosting our annual community party, the Evening in the Neck. The festivities will begin at 4:00 PM. This is an event where the neighborhood can get together to meet newcomers to the area and make new friends as well as rekindle old relationships.
As in past years we will be serving free food and soft drinks from our kitchen. Gene Warfield and Good Times Entertainment will be providing us with their musical talents, singing along to many great old songs. The beer trailer will be back again serving the Ten Eyck Taildragger IPA along with Michelob Ultra.
We are going to organize some games for both kids and adults as well as a potential surprise "ride" for the willing. More on that later as the plans firm up.
We are very proud of the improvements made around the firehouse since last year both to the building and our equipment. Please wander around and take a look. Don't be afraid to ask questions of the responders. The kids will be welcome to climb aboard the fire trucks and have their pictures taken.
We are looking forward to an enjoyable evening with friends and neighbors.
