Business After Hours & Ribbon Cutting: Black Water Bakery Birthday Celebration

Black Water Bakery ("BWB") is excited to host a Dorchester Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours with a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate our 7th year of business. Please plan to attend on Thursday, April 4th, at 433 Race Street in beautiful downtown Cambridge. Drinks, food, and a birthday treat will be served to celebrate the day and kick off our weekend birthday celebration. In order to allow our staff to participate, Taqueria Floritas will cater food for the event.

Since April 2017, Jamie and her staff have worked tirelessly to make BWB the place to go in Cambridge for breakfast, baked goods, coffee, and lunch. Chefs Tom and Phillip have consistently delivered delicious meals along with our baker Stephanie who is always seeking new and creative baked goods to stock the cases.  BWB has become a good training ground for young people in our community teaching them essential work skills while making good tips. All of these staff members over the years have been there to serve our community and the community has been very supportive. Jamie would like to thank all of our customers for their support these past 7 years. BWB has become the "go to" location for breakfast and lunch meetings. The problems of Cambridge are continually being solved over a cup of Oyster Reef coffee or a couple of Nashville Hots with fries.

Due to all of this community support, BWB finds itself needing to expand. Construction is underway and the additional space will be ready this June and will double our seating. Our bakery operation will move next door and additional ovens will be added to bake artisan and specialty breads.
