Blacks of the Chesapeake presentation
Vincent Leggett of the Blacks of the Chesapeake Foundation will speak on the legacy of African Americans on the waters of the Chesapeake at the Nanticoke Historic Preservation Alliance's 2020 Annual Meeting at 3 p.m. on Feb. 9 at the Robbins Center, Heritage Museum and Gardens of Dorchester, 1003 Greenway Drive, Cambridge. The event is free and open to the public. The meeting will begin with a slide update of the Handsell House restoration progress. Warm soups will be served along with other refreshments and snacks.
