The Dorchester County Council is delighted to announce that George L. (Lenny) Pfeffer, Jr., Council President, has been named Treasurer of the Maryland Association of Counties 2023 Board of Directors. Councilman Pfeffer, who is currently serving his second term on the Council, also serves as the County’s representative on the MACo Legislative Committee.
We are also pleased to announce that Steve Nuwer, Airport Director, was elected as the Secretary for the Maryland Aviation Council. Mr. Nuwer, who is also a licensed pilot, has been with the County for four years.
The Dorchester County Council commends both Councilman Pfeffer and Mr. Nuwer for their dedicated service.
