Shore Legal Access (formerly Mid-Shore Pro Bono) continues to grow to meet the civil legal needs of the eight counties it serves on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Maryland’s job market has reached a historic milestone. The mid-Atlantic state registered a record unemployment rate of 1.6% in September — less than half the national unemployment rate of 3.8% that month — Labor Department data shows. That’s the lowest seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of any state on records going back to 1976, according to a CNN analysis. CAMBRIDGE, MD – The former presidential yacht Sequoia, covered in shrink wrap, arrived by barge Monday on the city’s waterfront, where it will become part of the revival of the Richardson Maritime Center’s (Richardson) mission and the region’s boat building history.
