A replica of the ship was launched at Wilmington\, Delaware\, in 1997. The re-creation measures 94 feet on deck and 131 feet overall\, with a 25-foot beam\, a 12-foot draft\, and a displacement of 300 tons. Today it serves as a floating classroom and an inspirational platform for education and recreation.\n\nThe Kalmar Nyckel Foundation is a Wilmington\, Del. non-profit\, volunteer-based educational organization that built\, owns\, and operates Kalmar Nyckel.\n\nLong Wharf is located at 100 High Street in Cambridge\, Maryland.
