Thursday, November 14th -5-6:30pm at the Dorchester Center for the Arts speaker Kate Livie, writer and historian who has written extensively about Chesapeake Bay culture, including her prize-winning 2015 book, Chesapeake Oysters: The Bay’s Foundation and Future. Founder and head creative at Alosa Communications, Livie is also adjunct faculty at Washington College, and lives with her husband in her hometown of Chestertown, Maryland.
