The Snakehead Mayhem Tournament, May 30-June 2, is the second of four tournaments in the 2019 Channidae Championship Trail. (In case you don’t know, “Channidae” is the scientific name for snakehead, an invasive fish species.) The cost is $50 to enter with five optional Calcuttas at $10 each. Submit your five heaviest snakeheads each day over the four days and the most total weight wins the tournament!
Prize structure will be determined by the number of anglers entered in the tournament. The optional Calcuttas to enter are: Heaviest snakehead harvested during the tournament, Most snakeheads harvested in a single day (minimum of 8?), Heaviest snakehead harvested by bowfishing, Most snakeheads harvested by bowfishing (minimum 8?) and Heaviest snakehead harvested throughout the entire Channidae Championship Trail! Also the standings at the end of the tournament will contribute to the Angler of the Year prize which is awarded to the angler with the most tournament points after all four Channidae Championship Trail tournaments!
