The 22st annual Fun Dog Show happens Saturday, May 11, in Governor’s Hall at Sailwinds Park along the Choptank River in Cambridge, Maryland. A fun, no-pressure event for four-legged canines and humans alike.
Registration begins at 9am; event begins at 10am and runs until 2pm.This event has grown into a local tradition. Registration begins at 9:00 A.M. and begins with a blessing of all dogs and a parade of all dogs and their owners at 10:00. No pedigree is required, but your pooch must be six months or older and on a leash in order to compete.
An entry fee of $5 is required for the first category entered. Then there is a fee of $4 for all additional categories. Enter as many as you like.
Categories include demonstrations of obedience, best groomed, best trick, best large dog, best small dog, dog that looks most like its owner, and more. So put on their best costumes — you can too — and enjoy the show.
There will be refreshments available, raffle items, and prizes for dogs and owners.
The event is free to the public.
