This year\, Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a recognition ceremony being held on May 30\, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.\n\n\n\nAll ceremonies are free and open to the public and will include wreath-laying ceremonies\, commemorative remarks\, the playing of Taps\, and patriotic tributes in remembrance of America's fallen heroes.\n\n\n\nMaryland's veterans cemeteries and memorials will welcome visitors throughout Memorial Day weekend. Community members are encouraged to attend a ceremony and pay tribute to those who served.\n\n\n\n"Memorial Day is a sacred reminder of the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.
