DESCRIPTION:For 88 years\, volunteers with the Cambridge Rescue Fire Company have created this spectacular train garden for the holidays. The RFC Train Garden is the longest continually operating fire department train display in the nation! The train garden changes each year and features miniature towns\, cities\, farms\, forests\, factories and highways\, all decked out in holiday revelry and crisscrossed by model trains. This year's theme is Hollywood Holiday\, with cartoon characters\, classic movie scenes\, superheroes\, and other fun finding their way onto the Train Garden layouts. Returning for the first time since the 1940s\, Standard Gauge trains will also run the Train Garden rails.\n\n\n\nThe display is open for inside viewing throughout December\, opening for the season on Dec. 1\, 2022. Regular hours are:\n\nMonday through Friday\, 6-9pm\n\nSaturday and Sunday\, 1-4pm and 6-9pm\n\nChristmas Eve and New Year's Eve: 6-9pm\n\nClosed Christmas Day\n\nFree admission\, but donations are welcome.
