2011 Dorchester Chamber Award Winners  

       It is important as an organization that we recognize and hold up as a positive example those that have contributed towards making Dorchester County a great place to live and work.  Many individuals and organizations have made significant impact and we requested your help in identifying the best of the best.
      On May 23rd we recognized those that have excelled in six different areas.  Below are the award winners and also the criteria they met in order to acheive the award.

Business Woman of the Year   and   Business Man of the Year
·      Must be a leader in her/his field
·      Must have management responsibilities (owner, executive, managing partner, General Manager, etc.)
·      Must be actively involved in the civic activities of the community
·      Must have had a measurable, positive impact on the county through educating, promoting and growing a     strong business community

DAVID LEVY of Bay Country Bakery, Business Man of the Year

Small Chamber Business of the Year
·      Member in good standing with all obligations current
·      In existence at least five (5) years
·      Has less than 25 employees
·      Demonstrated business growth (volume, employees, locations, acquisitions, etc.)
·      Actively supports community and Chamber activities

·      Has 25 or more employees
